Okay, so here it is...the first post of my blog. Nothing much to say right now, other than I will take photos of myself and measurements over the weekend - I am loath to weigh myself so I won't, at least not until I lose some weight and start fitting into my old clothes again. Then I will weigh myself so it won't be quite as much of a shock.
Officially I don't start this thing until April 1 anyway so I think I will enjoy my Starbucks Mocha Lattes while I still can...lol

Remember, Nancy....this is the first day of the rest of your life. It sounds corny, but it is true! As long a s I have known you, you have been unhappy with your weight, and I KNOW that you will feel so much better when you loose it! So many people heavier than you have done it, so can you! Just eat healthily one day at a time, starting tomorrow, and exercise in some way for 30 minutes a day!!! You will look soooo good this time next year!!!....

I know...I just have to keep focused on how GOOD I will look and feel on my 42nd birthday next year. And how good those Manolo Blahnik shoes will look (and feel) on my feet after I lose weight!!! ;)
BTW - are you writing up a "rewards" list of stuff you will do for yourself when you hit milestone pound losses??
That is a good idea...I forgot about rewards...LOL.I will think of a few and jot them down on my site.They will be in increments of 5 lbs, I think, and at first they will have to be rather inexpensive items!
